These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at stoneslabs.co.za, the online quote request service, and any related tools or software we make available (together, the “Services”), operated by Goldtop Quartz (Pty) Ltd, trading as Stone Slabs (“Stone Slabs”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

You may use the Services if you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement. If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You agree to use the website and Services only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Services in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with, damage, or disrupt the Services or the servers and networks that support them
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services, accounts, or systems
• Use automated means to access, scrape, or copy content without our permission
• Upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

We may suspend or restrict access to the Services if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

Our website allows you to request a quote and to view indicative pricing and service information.

• A quote request is not a contract. Submitting an enquiry or quote request through the website does not create a binding agreement between you and Stone Slabs, and does not oblige us to provide any goods or services.
• Quotes are estimates. Any quote, price, or turnaround time we provide is an estimate based on the information available at the time. Pricing, availability, lead times and material specifications may change before a quote is accepted.
• When a contract is formed. A binding agreement arises upon acceptance of a quote. A quote is accepted when either (a) a deposit is paid against the quote, or (b) you notify us of your acceptance formally in writing, whether by email, WhatsApp, a signed quote, a purchase order, or similar. Until a quote is accepted in one of these ways, no binding contract exists.
• Quotes depend on the accuracy of information you provide. Estimates are based on the plans, drawings, measurements and other information you give us. Where the dimensions or conditions actually measured on site differ from that information, the quote is subject to change to reflect the site measurement.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, where it applies to you.

When you submit information, drawings, plans, images, or other materials through the Services (“Your Content”):

• You retain ownership of Your Content.
• You grant us a licence to use, store, and process Your Content for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, preparing quotes, and providing our Services.
• You confirm that you have the right to provide Your Content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

All content on the website — including text, images, project photographs, the Stone Slabs name and logo, catalogue material, designs, and software — is owned by or licensed to Stone Slabs and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and use the website for your own personal or business enquiry purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or exploit our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

Product names, brand names and logos of the materials we stock belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

From time to time we operate internal tools and software, and integrate with third-party services, to run our business and deliver the Services. These include an accounting integration with Intuit QuickBooks.

• Where we integrate with Intuit QuickBooks, we synchronise a limited set of customer and transaction information — customer records, invoices, receipts and payments — solely to prepare invoices, record payments, and maintain accurate accounting records.
• We do not sell or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes. Our handling of this data is described further in our Privacy Policy.
• Your use of any Stone Slabs software or tool is permitted only for its intended business purpose. We grant no licence to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute our software.
• Third-party services we rely on (including Intuit) are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Intuit's terms are available at https://www.intuit.com/legal/ and its privacy policy at https://www.intuit.com/privacy/.

The website may contain links to third-party websites, including material suppliers and brands we stock. We provide these links for convenience and information only. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third-party website, and a link does not imply our endorsement.

We aim to keep the Services available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice.

While we take care to keep information such as catalogue details and pricing current, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Services and their content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not warrant that any information, estimate, or material displayed on the website is complete, accurate, or current.
• We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, where that Act applies to you.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
